Otake was my and my girlfriend‘s FAVORITE local sushi place for years until we moved away. Don‘t listen to any of the negative reviews — their food is always delicious and they have great service. Our favorites are the Alaska Maki and the Crazy Maki, but we‘ve enjoyed everything we‘ve tried from their menu! This restaurant is legitimately one of the things we will miss most about living in Newton. Go try it!

This is my go to sushi place. I think it strikes the right balance of quality to price. It‘s good sushi at a reasonable price. Edited to add another photo of one of the entrees with spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls as well as tuna and salmon nigiri. I love this combo!
